About Swurv / A different kind of tax practice

The Art of Strategic Structure

I built Swurv for people whose lives and businesses no longer fit inside one country's standard playbook.

Follow the structure ↓

The problem beneath the problem

Growth exposes the cracks.

Most people wait until complexity becomes a crisis. I would rather design for it early.

Structure before scale.

Tax follows the facts.

Your residency, the location of the work, the source of income, and the entities involved all shape the outcome.

Banks ask harder questions.

As activity grows across borders, clean records and a coherent structure stop being optional.

A local answer stops being enough.

One company in one country may be useful—but it has to make sense inside the rest of your life.

I built Swurv to bring tax fundamentals, operator thinking, and lived international experience into one relationship.

I learned the work from the ground up in my family's tax practice, studied international business in Belgium, worked with startups in Silicon Valley, and have spent more than fifteen years living and working across countries.

That combination changes how I approach a problem. I do not begin with a product to sell. I begin with how you actually live, earn, bank, and plan to grow.

The lived proof

My global journey was not a branding exercise.

It is the route that taught me how tax, business, banking, and real life collide across borders.

What makes the perspective different

I do not separate the structure from the life around it.

Swurv is a tax and business advisory practice—not a formation factory. The work combines technical fundamentals with the judgment of someone who has built, moved, and operated internationally.

01

Tax fundamentals

Decades inside a working tax practice—not theory learned solely from a course or sales script.

02

Operator thinking

I understand products, clients, cash flow, execution, and the realities behind an organizational chart.

03

Global context

Residency, citizenship, management, banking, and future plans are considered together.

04

Structures built to change

The right answer today should leave a clean path for where the business may go tomorrow.

Two starting points / One connected picture

What I help with.

The work changes by citizenship and residence, but the method stays the same: understand the facts, design the structure, and keep the pieces coordinated.

Path A

For international owners

  • U.S. company formation, EIN, and banking onboarding
  • Foreign-owned LLC federal and state compliance
  • Income-source and U.S. trade-or-business analysis
  • Cross-border owner compensation and bookkeeping
  • Coordination with local accountants and legal counsel
Path B

For Americans abroad

  • U.S. filings and international information reporting
  • Foreign earned income and housing-exclusion planning
  • Business, personal, and investment separation
  • Multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction coordination
  • Long-term planning around residence and operations

No company or residency automatically eliminates tax. Recommendations depend on your facts and the laws of every relevant jurisdiction.

How the structure gets built

A clear path through a complicated problem.

  1. Strategic Call

Understand your ownership, residence, activity, and goals.

  2. Assessment

Identify exposure, friction, and missed opportunities.

  3. Tailored Plan

Map the entities, filings, banking, and sequence.

  4. Execution

Coordinate setup and move each piece into place.

  5. Ongoing Support

Adapt the structure as the business and your life change.

Why this matters

From accumulated decisions to an intentional system.

Before structure

  • Personal and business activity overlap
  • Reporting changes from year to year
  • Banking and compliance requests arrive as surprises
  • No clear path for expansion or relocation

After structure

  • Entities have defined roles
  • Reporting follows a repeatable system
  • Tax, banking, and records support one another
  • Future decisions start from a coherent plan

Long-term relationships

The structure is only useful if it works in real life.
