Swurv ("Swurv," "we," "us," or "our") provides U.S. business formation, tax preparation, accounting, compliance, and related advisory services. This policy applies when you visit swurv.tax, contact us, or provide information in connection with a prospective or active client relationship.

A practical note: Please do not send Social Security numbers, passport images, banking credentials, tax records, or similar sensitive documents through ordinary email or Telegram unless we direct you to an approved method.

1. Scope

This policy covers information handled through this website and our direct interactions with prospective and current clients. A signed engagement letter, service agreement, or legally required professional privacy notice may provide additional terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific notice or agreement will control for that engagement.

Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices. Their policies—not this one—govern information they handle independently.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, country of residence, and preferred communication method.
  • Business information, such as entity names, ownership, management, formation documents, business activities, and jurisdictions of operation.
  • Identity and compliance information, which may include identification documents, tax identification numbers, beneficial ownership information, and records needed for KYC, AML, filing, or other legal requirements.
  • Tax, accounting, and financial information, such as returns, financial statements, transaction records, account details, and supporting documents when needed for an engagement.
  • Communications and service information, including messages, questions, instructions, proposals, agreements, and payment or billing records.

Information collected when you use the website

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs.

The current public website does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral analytics. Some pages load fonts from Google, which may receive technical request information from your browser. If we add analytics, advertising tools, or materially different cookies, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required by law.

Information from other sources

With your direction or when needed to provide services, we may receive information from co-owners, employees, prior advisers, registered agents, government agencies, financial institutions, professional partners, public records, and service providers.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and determine whether and how we can assist;
  • prepare proposals, establish engagements, and provide requested services;
  • form and maintain entities, prepare filings and returns, keep accounting records, and coordinate related work;
  • verify identity, conduct due diligence, prevent fraud, and meet tax, accounting, KYC, AML, recordkeeping, and other legal obligations;
  • process payments, administer our client relationships, and maintain business records;
  • secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, systems, and services; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect our rights and those of others.

Where a law requires a legal basis, we generally rely on steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests, or consent where appropriate.

4. Artificial intelligence and emerging technology

We may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, optical character recognition, translation, data-extraction tools, workflow automation, and other developing technologies (collectively, “AI-assisted tools”) to support our work. These tools may help us organize documents, extract or compare information, summarize materials, translate text, identify inconsistencies, prepare research questions, locate potentially relevant authorities, perform calculations, create drafts, and manage administrative workflows.

Human responsibility and professional judgment

AI-assisted tools support—not replace—professional judgment. A qualified person remains responsible for the work performed by Swurv. We do not treat an AI response as legal authority, accept a citation or calculation solely because a system generated it, or rely on an AI-produced conclusion without review appropriate to the task and its risk.

For tax research and compliance work, our working standard is to evaluate material conclusions against relevant primary or authoritative sources, verify citations and calculations, consider the client's actual facts and jurisdictions, and resolve material conflicts or uncertainty before relying on the result. Technology does not reduce our duties of competence, diligence, confidentiality, supervision, or accuracy.

Data-minimization and approved-use controls

When AI-assisted tools may process client information, we seek to use only the information reasonably necessary for the task. Depending on the work, this may include removing direct identifiers, using excerpts instead of complete files, replacing names with reference labels, limiting user access, and using business or enterprise configurations with stronger contractual, security, retention, and model-training controls.

We do not intentionally place confidential client information into public, anonymous, or consumer AI tools for the purpose of training a generally available model. We do not intentionally use client-specific confidential information to build or train a public foundation model. If a proposed use would allow a provider to use confidential client information for general model training or another materially different purpose, we will avoid that use unless it is lawful, consistent with our professional obligations, and appropriately disclosed or authorized.

Vendor review and continuing oversight

Before using an AI-assisted provider for sensitive work, we consider factors appropriate to the risk, which may include the provider's terms, confidentiality commitments, security measures, access controls, retention settings, model-training practices, data locations, subprocessors, incident history, and available deletion or export controls. Because products and vendor terms change, approval of a tool is not permanent; we may restrict, replace, or discontinue a tool when its risks or practices no longer fit the work.

Accuracy, bias, and limitations

AI-assisted tools can produce incomplete, outdated, biased, inconsistent, or confidently incorrect output, including fabricated citations. Outputs may also vary when the same question is repeated. We use review, source checking, reconciliation, and other controls proportionate to the significance of the work. No technology can eliminate the need for complete and accurate client information.

No solely automated consequential decisions

We do not use AI alone to make a final decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect for a client. We do not authorize an AI system, without meaningful human review and approval, to sign a return or legal document, submit a filing, make a tax election, transfer money, open or close an account, bind a client to an agreement, or communicate a final position to a tax authority.

Records, transparency, and questions

Prompts, extracted data, system outputs, review notes, and related logs may become part of our working papers or engagement records when reasonably necessary to document the work, maintain quality, troubleshoot a process, or comply with law. They are then handled under the retention, security, sharing, and rights provisions of this policy.

You may ask whether AI-assisted tools are materially involved in a particular engagement and may raise a confidentiality or technology concern before sending information. We will consider reasonable restrictions in light of the requested work, available alternatives, legal duties, security, cost, and the terms of the applicable engagement. We cannot promise that every ordinary software product we use is entirely free of embedded automation or AI-enabled features.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and the current website does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to:

  • service providers supporting hosting, secure document exchange, communications, billing, recordkeeping, security, research, document processing, automation, AI-assisted tools, and business operations;
  • professional and transaction partners such as accountants, attorneys, registered agents, filing services, banks, payment providers, and local advisers when you request, authorize, or reasonably expect that coordination;
  • government bodies and other parties when required by law, legal process, professional obligation, or a valid regulatory request, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • a successor organization as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We may also share information at your direction or with your consent.

6. Third-party communications and links

Our website links to Telegram as a convenient way to begin a conversation. When you use Telegram, Telegram independently processes information under its own privacy policy. Do not treat a social or messaging platform as a secure document portal.

Links to banks, government agencies, payment providers, and other outside services are provided for convenience. We do not control their systems or privacy practices.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of personal information about you, or to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent.

Where applicable, you may also request information about a consequential automated decision and ask for meaningful human review. Swurv does not currently use AI alone to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects for clients.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information cannot be deleted when we must retain it for tax, accounting, regulatory, dispute, security, or other legal reasons.

8. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing services, maintaining required professional and business records, meeting tax and legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of record, the engagement, and applicable law.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe information you provided to us may be at risk, contact us promptly.

10. International transfers

Swurv works with clients, professionals, and service providers across borders. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for these transfers.

11. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses, not children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date above shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to their significance.

13. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, email info@swurv.com or contact Swurv on Telegram. Please use email only to begin a privacy request; we may move the conversation to a more secure channel before discussing sensitive information.
